Jeniece is going to the bathroom a lot. She is also really, really thirsty all the time. When her mommy takes her to the doctor to find out why, Jeniece soon learns that she has Type 1 Diabetes.



With lots of hugs and love from her parents, Jeniece learns all about her new way of life that includes testing her blood sugar, counting carbs, eating healthy foods, and giving herself insulin. It all seems very scary and confusing until she meets Ruthie, another little girl with T1D who tells her everything is going to be okay. Soon Jeniece and other children just like her band together to spread the word that things will get better to all the new patients. The Pump Posse is on a mission to educate and empower!
