I was born in Cornwall in the early 1960's. My father was a music dealer and my mother taught all ages from juniors to seniors. I was educated in Penzance and then went on to Cornwall College, Camborne where I studied Business Management. I undertook various writing courses and other related education such as typing and fast reading before and since going into the world of work. After college I worked in a local bank for one year before going to work for my father in his shop. I then went to live and work in St Ives at the local Methodist Guild Holidays Guesthouse. I worked in the Civil Service for sixteen years and then spent some time as chief Minute Taker at Children's Social Care. In 2010 I left England and went to live in France in my brother's flat. I have pursued a career in writing and am currently carrying out a refurbishment of a local house. I have two brothers and sisters-in-law, two nephews and one niece.
