Allowed to roam the streets in the wee hours of the morning doing mischief, staying one step ahead of the law. A story of a childhood that carries him from the poor white trash in North Carolina to an orphanage than to the streets of Cleveland Ohio where the hard knocks really began. This is a story of hard times for a mother and her love for her nine children. This is a story of sorrow but also of happiness and laughter. There is humor is hard times if you open your mind and see it for what it is.
