Publisher Marketing: Unfolding Universe is a celebration of life unfolding into time and space. There are landscapes of the mind, alongside snapshots of intimate everyday dimensions: mountain vistas, seascapes, local and exotic scenes, and meditations. I offer it to you to share some insights from a life well lived: a birdsong call heard in early dawn or darkest night and the fluted sounds of mindful observation of a world of beauty, passion, and yes, the irony of tears and pain. Our world is not a perfect place; yet viewed with wit and dashes of charm, it opens new ways to see an expanding universe: acrid, sweet, and salty, zesty, crunchy, soft textured and hard - seasoned by time, basted by ever expanding space. Paula Amar Schwartz, Ph. D., is a retired psychologist living in Albuquerque, NM. She taught at Jefferson Medical College and developed a clinical practice in Ambler, PA. She and her husband, Melvin J. Schwartz, travel extensively, primarily enjoying adventure travel to remote places in the world. They both ski and enjoy a vigorous outdoor life. They also enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. Paula is a lifelong meditator who teaches and has conducted research in meditation. She views meditation as the path that opened her voice as a poet, and is a participant and leader in several meditation groups. Her poetry has been published nationally and internationally.
