The Masks We Wear is about Harmony Cole, a young woman who has grown up amidst the fast-paced, power hungry metropolis of plastic and cameras in Los Angeles, CA. When her world comes crashing down on her, after her sister?s drug overdose and tragic death, she is forced to reexamine her priorities. She begins to notice the socially constructed masks those around her have been wearing, and escapes from what she perceives to be a dysfunctional world of denial and secrets. Harmony leaves all of the ?comforts? she has known behind, embarking on a journey that takes her to Europe. Through her adventures abroad, she encounters obstacles that provide her with an opportunity to truly test her resilience. Harmony rediscovers herself when she is forced to take off her mask.
