The book is the only complete catalog of almost all her paintings, sculptures and bas relief, together with her complete biography and an art critique of her job. Antonia Matos had become a symbol for women painters in Guatemala, because despite the big obstacles she faced in the Guatemala of the 30's, she dared to paint freely, very far in advance for her time.
