Vision Quest; a Time to Live
James Whaley
Against his will, nineteen -year-old Mike is coerced into accompanying his Uncle Ruff on a camping trip in the mountains of Colorado . Mike's intention is to endure the activity with as little effort as possible. But Ruff has other plans. He believes his nephew needs to experience life more fully and has designed a way to encourage that to happen. When both plans go awry, a series of events are set in motion. A mother black bear has other ideas and then Pap and his sons enter the picture. Pap believes the world was made for him to take what he wants, and the black bear believes that the same is true for her. When these beliefs collide, Mike, Ruff, Pap and his sons, the bear, and the Colorado Forest Rangers are all caught up in a vicious chain of events that spiral out of control. Mike finds himself in a battle for survival.
