Some plot details:
When Sarah runs away from her husband Joseph, her world explodes into one of liberation and fear.
She has no friends, no family, and almost no money, but her spunk, ingenuity, and deep need for freedom might be enough.
Though she takes on a new name and travels far away, she often reminds herself that she is safe from Joseph, that he will not find her and exact his own special punishment.
