I think it is fair to say that two thirds of the world is covered with water while the rest is covered with Facebook, and Twitter.
These social network phenomena have captured the imaginations of the world and changed the way people live. Facebook friends request, "Add me" while the request of Twitter is "Follow me." But it is the Twitter phenomenon that has intrigued me - maybe because of its simplicity and the use of the word "tweet." For some reason, that word has grabbed my attention and prompted the birth of this devotional.
Hearing God's Tweet is an invitation for you to follow God. Through these Tweets, God seeks to show you how much He loves you and how much He longs to have a relationship with you. Join me as we follow
Hearing God's Tweet is a daily devotional, which serves as an invitation to follow God and what God is doing.
Each devotion consists of five elements:
1. The heading represents God's Tweet.
2. The Bible passage relates to God's Tweet.
3. The devotion is an application of the passage to our lives.
4. A short prayer follows the devotion.
5. "Today's quote" relates to the overall message of that specific
devotion.
The devotions in Hearing God's Tweet take you on a journey through all the Bible books. The devotions don't follow the order of the Bible books as presented in the Bible but rather the chronological order of events. This will help you to get the bigger picture of the Bible.
