Similar to the breaking open of her son to allow for new life, Wendy Hayhoe has broken open her life and her home to let you see what it is for them to live life in the unexpected.

Wendy is a mom of two grown children, who lives with her husband, Phil, on the edge of the beautiful Hockley Valley in Ontario. As the -unexpected story of her family unfolded, words became her solace. Her passionate pursuit to find truth and meaning in it all became scribbled reflections and gradually took form in what you hold in your hands. Along the way Wendy has become an advocate for freedom from fear and the things that keep us held back from truly living. As her son, the recipient of a heart transplant, steps into adulthood, Wendy has found joy in time spent as a volunteer, advocating for individuals impacted by the sex industry and human trafficking.
