Pelvey Thomas is a young Homicide Detective from New York City. After being transplanted to Wilmington, Delaware, he's faced with a bizarre and mysterious case involving a mass outbreak from a home for the mentally advanced. It was plopped in his lap by Delaware's Federal Senator as a first-priority order of business. Pelvey's patience, analytical skills, and overall smarts are tested when he finds himself deep inside the rabbit hole of a well-kept government secret. The wild ride teaches him a few things about working alongside another detective, a receptionist at Wilmington Hospital, and a little bit about his own past.
