Lastly, as a young family was torn apart forever, the victims and family members tried to put their lives back into some kind of order. Did Eric McLean get away with premeditated murder? Some say he did. Others say it was the wife, Erin McLean, who should have faced jail time--as she was seen as the person who started it all. Clearly, three individuals were culpable in a murder that never should have happened. She began writing in 2007 and has published more than 1,100 articles for the Knoxville Journal Newspaper since that time. She lives in an historic Victorian home in Knoxville, Tennessee and spends her free time with her three grown children, Barrett, Erin and Ashley Rose. She also enjoys the family's 5 dogs, 8 ducks and 2 chickens. Woodward is an avid quilt maker, videographer, gardener and seamstress.
