ADVENTURES FROM INNOCENCE is a story about Joey Thames who is uprooted from the family?s small New England farm and abruptly moved south. He was taken to central Florida to live on a fruit grove. In his first few days, fought two Seminole Indian boys and gained their friendship. Joey and his new friends bond through their mutual love for hunting and fishing. In his innocence, he is soon drawn into dangerous situations. It will be a fun learning how Joey deals with each adventure, in ways sometimes far advanced for a person his age. This book provides the reader with a window into life in the rural south during the last century.
