Carol McDonald, a delightfully exotic and sensual young woman, has settled into her part time TV weekend news anchor job in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has outstanding musical singing talent but after graduating from Northwestern was unable to crack the music industry. After starting as a weather bunny for an Illinois TV station she has moved to Pittsburgh and is gradually moving up in her new job.
After an intriguing set of circumstance she meets Tom O'Donell, an All Pro Steeler wide receiver who lives in Carol's condo complex.
They become friends and Carol learns that Tom is also an accomplished musician, singer and song writer. They begin performing for local fund raisers and charities and become lovers.
Tom has also been participating in tennis and golf celebrity charity events and through contacts in these events has become acquainted with people in the music and entertainment industry.
Tom and Carol make a music video and send it off to the star of a late night talk show. The talk show host invites them to perform on his show and they are a huge hit.
Personal managers, agents and representatives of major recording companies bid to represent them. With the help of the talk show host they sign with a personal manager and hire an entertainment lawyer to negotiate a contract with Moonbeam Records, a major record producing company. Their lawyer also negotiates a contract with a management company and it's representative Jules Branson. Branson also helps Tom and Carol with obtaining the services of a theatrical agent and business manager.
Carol and Tom record an album and go on tour to promote their new album. It is a hit and goes platinum in a month. Carol is ecstatic. Her dreams of being a performing artist have come true. All the work and practice has paid off.
When football preseason training starts Tom has to leave the tour. He does dedicate all his available free time to be with Carol. C
