This suspense filled action adventure story finds our hero Steven Cross, a veteran CIA spy, assigned to a mission to track down a group of international arms dealers. Cross, at the home stretch of his career with the Agency, has six months to go before his retirement. Twenty-five years in the spy business has made him weary of the whole concept of clandestine and espionage activities. He thought one last routine assignment should not be a problem. Unfortunately, he and his team of field operatives encounter insurmountable odds from an Asian warlord and his gang of ruthless terrorists. Cross witnesses the brutality imposed upon the innocent by these evil people. Nothing will stop them as they plot to unleash worldwide devastation. While his mission begins to unravel he finds himself in the Far East cut off from Washington. In this constant life and death struggle, there is still time for romance. Encountering traitors in the field and at headquarters, Cross begins to fight back with the help of his Taipei connection and a band of unlikely allies. After the enemy nearly destroys his operation, he is united with a group of U. S. Special Forces who support his mission. It is with their help and his counterparts around the globe that he gains control of his objective. As he probes deeper into this seemingly straight forward assignment, he discovers that it goes beyond what he could ever imagine. Corruption from within the very government he believes in to an organization that is motivated by greed and power drives him to unleash the very terror within himself to counter-act these vile people. He vows to avenge some of his casualties only to find more terror around every corner.
