Thy Kingdom Come: Ashes of Aryah is a dark fantasy book that is essentially about the Fairy Tale apocalypse. We have all of these mythical creatures in tales spouting from many cultures throughout the world, and this book is my answer as to why these magnificent creatures are no longer here. There was a war steered by what is known as the "Great Prophecy" that states that we Humans are to carry the burden of the world on our shoulders once the mythical races are extinct. Things do not go smoothly however, the evil Empire of Fatalya will do everything in its power to upset the balance of order in the world and delay the inevitable; and the humans, though most mean well, are most unpredictable when it comes to the lure of taking the world for themselves....
