Wondershrub and Club

This unroarious political satire of President Bush ("Wondershrub") and his cronies begins with the president invoking former President Nixon to model his language and administration's goals. With the help of his ventriloquist Vice President ("Lip Surley"), Wondershrub invades Iraq, finds the Garden of Eden, the original Apple and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and transports these biblical treasures from Iraq to create a Biblical Theme Park on the South Lawn of the White House. Claiming compassion and decency, he then invades Belgium to remove its offensive "Manikin Pis" statue (the source of detested "leaks"), where he is captured, imprisoned and tortured without charges or access to lawyers or courts. His eventual death leads to his funeral oration delivered by "Reverend Robert Patrickson" and the ominous inauguration of "President Surley." Cameo appearances by Rumsfeld, Gonzales, Rice, Scalia, and other administration officials, including Osama bin Laden, precede their dire fates in the Biblical Theme Park before the country returns to normalcy.
