This story came out of a very BAD Nightmare I had, after loosing my parents and my only brother! (I was but thirty six). It was a very rough time for my Sister and I. When we were very young, we lived in Oregon, and in 1970 we moved back to Oregon and bought a ranchette along the Coquille River. Crater Lake is not far away from where I set "The Red Cliff Mystery." This story was my first. The small private Lake is make believe, as are the people in the story. I also pain in Acrylic. The young woman and her much younger brother in this story, also lost loved ones and went to stay with an Aunt. The girl went to work and the old house they all lived in had scary, odd incidents happen while the two kids lived with their Aunt. She went to work as a secretary for a private Investigator. We kept her mind busy. Her boss was "Kane... Tracer of Missing persons! On one of three cases, he took his secretary along and they began to trace the origin of her scary dreams. It ended up at the "RED LAKE area" where the CLIFFS were. What had happened there? Why wouldn't the HOUSE door open to let her in? Who was the woman, she'd dreamed of many times, and that was in the upstairs bedroom at the LAKE HOUSE?? Read to find out?
