This story will make you cry!
When Countess Natasha Le Printanier of Barly Castle, France accepts to marry Duke Allan Doherty of the British Crown, she just wanted to help her family wine business get back to its feet. But everything changes when Chendallah Njie, an "African Prince", student at the prestigious Sorbonne University comes to the castle, to work as a gardener. The Countess feels a great passion for the young man and proposes that they run away so she can learn how to love her future husband. They travel beyond the rivers, across the seas from France, Italy, Austria, Canada, Kenya, Tanzania, to Mexico with an outraged Allan at their tracks. At each stage, made of dangers, prejudices, injustices, lessons of life; the love of Natasha and Chendallah increases, while the honor of the British Duke decreases.
Beyond the Rivers, Across the Seas is a great love story; a story of elevation of the soul, a story of rehabilitation of the humankind, after prejudices and injustices have taken over in a great part of the novel.
