December 7, 1941 is truly a day that will live in infamy. All Americans were shocked on hearing of the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. We were caught off guard and many lives were lost as well as ships that were sitting targets. History still hasn't determined the whys and wherefores, though many speculative answers have been given on that fateful Sunday morning. We can now look back in retrospect as to what could have been done, and in doing so, maybe we might have used this incident to our own advantage. There is plenty of room for "what ifs." This story is just one of those "what ifs" and how history might have read differently if we had been in a more opportune position to change it. Let us remember Pearl Harbor and the brave young men who rest in peace aboard the battleship "Arizona" to this day and to all who perished on December 7, 1941. They and the "Arizona" will rise again to fight once more.
