The story starts with my oldest daughter Jazmin. She would cry every time I left the room. She would look for me but when she could not find me, she would cry. That is when I would talk to her to let her know I was near. Then I thought about how she would ask me questions of where I was at. I would talk to her to show her that I was doing things for her. But then I would talk to her in Spanish, she would smile. I think this book tells the story to all mothers and daughters of different cultures that we all have the same heart and love for your family.
