As if things weren't dangerous enough in New Orleans! While Hunter and his friends contend with the usual vampires, werewolves, angry spirits and terrifying demons, Hunter's worst enemy, the Baron, has decided to make the Crescent City his new home. To announce his arrival, the Baron leaves a trail of near-mummified bodies throughout the city and Hunter and his allies find themselves being propelled toward what could be the final confrontation with their hated enemy-and the revelation of dark things from Hunter's past that are best left forgotten.
