At sixteen, Elaine and Brad are "the" couple until life forces them apart. Even though every indication is that they belong together, destiny appears to have a different plan. It has been over thirty years since Elaine has even thought about Brad, but today she receives a letter from him. It's an amazing occurrence and she begins to wonder what it could mean.
