This book is basically about a young lady named Anita, who is in love with her high school sweetheart. She eventually marries him and becomes his wife one day only to find out later in life that she regretted the day she ever married him. She tries to hold on to her husband and be there for him, but he constantly continues to take her through unnecessary changes. Along the way she marries for the second time and starts to think that marriage perhaps just isn't for her. Then one day she decides to smarten up and come to her senses about men and move on with her life only to find out that later on in life, destiny somehow led her down another path to finding her true love.
