We are living in two different Time-Frames at once, which is why we are all, in our own way, so potty. In one, a creation of our imagination, we suffer the Cycle of Life, slowly. Born- Grow- Mature-Die. Yet, in retrospect, it seems to have passed in a twinkle. In the other Time-Frame , the real one, we are actually hurtling through space at ever increasing speed. So everything could have happened in the form of a sudden burst of light, if it happened at all. Somebody was motivated to imagine the ensuing stories as He-She simply whiffed by. WHOEVER astutely meshed Segments 1-11 to fashion a life. And sandwiched them between two Figments-the Introduction and Segment 12- to boggle a mind..
