The Privateer of Baltimore is a true David verses Goliath story Written not by a scholar but a soldier of Thomas Boyle and his crew who under a presidential order from James Madison takes the war of 1812 to the most powerful navy of the day the English navy even to attacking convoys of English merchant ships off the very coast of England. The story of a small American ship taking on enemy ships that out gunned them with a little insight into the men and history of the lost American war or sometime called the second American Revolution because it's lost would mean the end of the fledging American nation.
