Chicken Corn Dog is a ten-year-old girl who is afraid of just about everything hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning. You name it, she s afraid of it. Her mother tries to tell her that the chance of these things harming her is very unlikely, but she can t seem to calm her fears! One day her family decides to take a road trip. They are going to visit many exciting places and travel all the way across the United States. Unfortunately, because of her fears, Chicken Corn Dog misses out on all the fun and has a very boring time. In the end though, something happens that will change the way she feels and teach her a very important lesson . . .
