With these stories we are providing a forum for women's voices; a way for women to see each other as role models and mentors, and to say,
"Hey, she did it. With hard work, I can too."
We also see this book as a way of redefining success.

Women have often relied on the male view of success, which can centre on money and fame. These count for women, but they aren't the only things we value. Nor do they alone define our success. Being able to combine work and home, being proud of raising a family and still holding down a career, expressing our creativity in whatever ways God intended...these too are success.

This book is dedicated to all of the women who have gone before us who have fulfilled their lives but whose stories have not been heard. They've worn many hats and still found the time and strength to do the things that they like most. The old expression, "Men build houses, women make homes" no longer holds true.

Women can now do both.
