This book "It's Palestine not Israel" answers the question: What is Palestine? And is written for every person who believes that there are two sides to every story and who would like to shed light on the plight of Palestinians in the Holy Land of our Lord Jesus Christ. This book is part History and part personal experience as well as personal perceptive based on over 57 years of monitoring the region. The book discusses the historical presence of the Palestinians in that region dating back over 10,000 years, and giving snapshots of significant events all the way through the present time. Some time is devoted to pre-and post World War Two Palestine in order to truly explain the cause of the turmoil that the world now sees. The events immediately after World War Two are especially important as they reveal how Palestine was taken over through a political movement and not a military "civil war" as is rationalized in modern US history books. As a teenager experiencing first hand the nightmare of Haifa on April 22, 1948, I may aware that history has a tendency to leave some of the chapters of the book unwritten for the meek do not always have the strength or the opportunity to write the untold chapters. I feel that those untold stories need to be written or history will always be remembered from only one side and only point of view. There are many empty tears and silent screams that Palestinian children, women and men have endured with little compassion, and this may the true tragedy.
