In Breaking the Chains of Culture Vukotich looks at trust and its role in building successful relationships at the individual, team, and organization level. Based on over 20 years of experience and work with thousands of individuals he identifies and addresses common barriers that keep us from being as effective as possible. He creates a framework to help us understand how what we have learned in the past may be counterproductive to being successful in our current and changing environments (e.g. if we want to encourage teamwork why do we reward individuals). Case studies are provided to emphasize key points and self-reflective questions are asked to help us understand how we as individuals can be more effective in building relationships.
