A series of diary entries chronicles her many fears and secrets, and exposes the underlying despair of an illness that neither she nor anyone else can seem to grasp. Her recollections from present to past illuminate how a single catalyst is not the cause, but rather a prior series of devastating events gone unacknowledged. These awarenesses then begin to provide the fuel needed to make the necessary positive changes and help her understand the reasons for her behavior.
