The Magic Butterfly is a creation in the minds of two highly imaginative little children and to them she is as real as you or I. They fly to many far off places on the back of this magical creature and have many exciting adventures. The Green Felt Hat with Tails was a birthday gift to Nana from her daughter. She wears it when hiking in the mountains. One day a strong wind blows it off her head. It lands on the heads of several startled animals before disappearing into the forest. Nana is sad to lose her hat as she starts down the trail leading to her car. As she approaches the car she is amazed at what she sees. The story ends with an unsolved mystery. The Roadrunner Who Knew the Way is about a mother teaching her son to drive in the mountains. A silly looking bird suddenly hops out of the bushes and leads their car into a canyon where they become lost. The roadrunner they once thought was a silly bird becomes a very important character as they try to find their way out
