"The Wholly Trinity" seeks to examine religion and the supernatural through the collective lenses of fact, evidence and reason. If any of these three vital elements are missing then the result must necessarily be fantasy or fiction. The author?s premise is that fantasy can never mesh with reality to form a solid foundation for human progression. Religion and the supernatural have certainly provided cohesive elements for humanity?s first faltering steps from ignorance and superstition into our modern reality, yet the human mind is reluctant to view the legends, the myths, and the comfortable rituals for what they are: colorful, even beautiful, artifacts of our emergent historical past.
