Help From the Homeland is a snap-shot of how one community in Amerca's heartland responded with hope to the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Husband and wife team Micah and Carol Rubenstein chose to respond by contributing weekly articles to their local newspaper, articles that addressed the questions and uncertainties dominating the minds of Knox County, Ohio citizens and all Americans. The series was compiled into Help From The Homeland, a book that takes the microscope off New York City and focuses on America·s Heartland, offering a unique, in-depth account of a rural Ohio community·s response to the horrific tragedy that changed our nation.
