Synopis A child is conceived in a violent assault. The pregnant woman is confused and anxious to find a husband to help her through it. A series of events puts her in the path of a man she'd had casual sex with at a small get together. Once her luck had turned from bad to worse, she'd begun hustling as a way of making ends meet. Then, once prostitution had become too risky, she coaxed the casual one time sex partner into marriage, telling him that he was the father of the child. The child is born into a hostile situation but the father chooses to disregard the facial features and the color of the child's skin, which naturally looked like his true father, a Caucasian man. Throughout his infancy the child behaves in strange ways, like he's witness to things others can't see, something his mother's husband acknowledges, but has no clue as to the child's clairvoyance. As time wears on, there are more episodes where his clairvoyance reveals itself. In one episode, he's with his mother at the home of her lover. He begins to see images of blood on the floor and in his mother's hair. It's also at around this time when he begins to hear the voice of his spirit guide trying to communicate with him. Another child comes into the picture and the physical difference between him and his brother becomes an issue in both siblings? minds. The one born of both black parents begins to feel his superiority over the other, something that's revealed in a short, at first innocent, conversation between the two. It's only after a confrontation with a violent militant group and then running away from home to escape the hateful environment when his spirit guide at last begins to dominate his life, her image now fixed in his apartment and speaking to him constantly. The spirit reveals her reason for linking with him. Her desire is for the violent militants the clairvoyant had confronted to change their ways and walk the path of peace. For
