While on vacation in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Robison Murphy is abducted in order to help save the life of Juan Alvarez, Minister of Finance andpresidential candidate-who was accidentally wounded by his mistress. Given the circumstances, secrecy is imperative. Robison soon learns Carlos, the son, intends to "silence" her when Juan recovers. Robison manages to escape but issoon recaptured and returned to the Alvarez estate by security guards. Again she escapes, but can't find her husband or friends.
