The book is constructed of three parts. The first, which describes the origins of Latin-American man in his family environment, work, everyday life, and his emerging questioning of and search for answers in a society that is eternally divided. Second, we travel down a detailed testimony of the civil war that plagued El Salvador in the 1980's. In the final part, we find essays that narrate the coming of the new millennium and September 11th, that changed the face of freedom in North America and the life of immigrants forever. Through these essays, the author connects man's diverse facets in the continuing struggle to show the greatest gift that God gave to man, which is to live among brothers in this planet, as the ultimate paradise. El libro consta de tres partes. La primera parte describe los origenes del hombre latinoamericano en su entorno familiar, detrabajo, de vivencias y el comienzo intrincado del que busca respuestas en unasociedad eternamente dividida.
