You either have it or you don't. And private investigator, Jamie Prescott, has it. A talent for landing in trouble, that is. On vacation in Barbados she encounters intrigue and murder. The cast includes an intrepid travel agent, an American art dealer, his Martinique-born girl- friend, a chief of police, a scuba-dive master, a plantation manager with a roving eye, a rebellious teen, and assorted drugged-out drifters. Dead bodies wash up on the shore. A woman disappears and the trail leads to Copenhagen where Jamie soon encounters more trouble before wrapping up the case.
