These stories are all personal experiences of the author during his tenure as a Scout master. The names of the Scouts and Leaders have been omitted to preserve what is left of their reputations. As you read most of these stories you will find some incredible situations and incidents that only another Scout master would believe could happen in real life, but Iassure this is all true. Some of these stories are still being told in this Troop after being handed down. The Scouts who are telling these stories today were not even born when most of them happened. The Troop to date has been honored by elevating 24 Scouts to the rank of Eagle Scout and most of them were involved in one or more of these stories in either a supporting or staring role. This Scout master still uses all of these recipes at camp and in his home kitchen. I've always said. "I can cook anything at camp which can be cooked in my home kitchen. It just takes a little innovation and adjustment of cooking styles and capabilities available at the time and place."
