They are hunters and trappers of the mountains. They joined together to fight the British. These men were called Patriots. Those who endured the hardships of war with nothing but hope, and the pain that came with hope. They were cheered, treated as heroes, and loved by all as they went to do battle. Patriots all, but when the battles were over, they faded into oblivion ... like all wars since. Marion E.
