Theywere tempted to stay in Switzerland, which by then was much safer than the US(suffering through massive small pox deaths, as well as suicide bombings). Yetwhen news came that the terrorists had hit the Statue of Liberty, the patrioticcouple flew back to help their beloved country -America.
