SEQ CHAPTER h r 1 Synopsis This book is about the Author's efforts to locate treasures mentioned within a diary kept by George R. Collins, in the book referred to as G. R. C., a late 1800's treasure hunter. Gorge R. Collins hunted treasure on Florida's West coast for more than 20 years and was able to meet and speak with those who had direct knowledge of these treasures. Many people in the past have hunted treasure on the West coast of Florida but it appears that George R. Collins is the only one to have documented his efforts. The Author, along with his colleagues, have made a concerted effort to research and to locate these treasures. The Author has kept his own diary of these trips and research and the results there of and along with the diary of George R. Collins this book has evolved. It has taken 35 years for the Author to be able to share his information and thein formation contained in the diary of G. R. C.
