Dr. Ron Charles is well qualified to write a book about the search for historical Jesus. Although he earned a B. S. in Civil Engineering and worked as a structural engineer for 12 years, and a B. A. in Theology and pastored for 14 years, his passion has always been history and archaeology, particularly New Testament and Roman era history. As such, Dr. Charles continued his education by earning an M. A. in Theology, a Ph. D. in Ancient History, a Ph. D. in International Relations, and a Th. D. in Historical Theology. Dr. Charles spent 33 years, traveled to over 50 countries, and was involved with numerous archaeological investigations in five different countries, in his pursuit for authenticating information regarding the life of Jesus.
