Nancy Phillips and her husband, David, have been pastors in Boonville, IN since 1995. Since her husband is also an optometrist, she has had the dual role of being a 'Doctor's wife' and a 'Preacher's wife', all rolled into one. Prior to these two responsibilities, she worked in retail sales as a cosmetic consultant for ten years. With all of this experience, come many humorous stories, the funniest being the role as a preacher's wife. Nancy has been ministering with her husband at the church, as well as fulfilling speaking engagements at ladies' banquets at other area churches. With all of the trials of life, she uses her down-to-earth personality to present humor and laughter in her messages. She uses the humor to teach about the awesome responsibility she and David have in the ministry. One of her greatest treasures is her eight grandchildren, who will probably give her many more humorous stories in years to come.
