Montrose unfolds with a twenty-six-year-old investigative newspaper reporter, named Jade Lewis, being offered a story by her editor. She is compelled to take on this assignment. The revelations are mystifying, suspenseful, and intriguing. However, this assignment will prove to be a dangerous feat for Jademore dangerous than originally thought. Jade, who is a single, attractive, intelligent workaholic, is haunted by her mothers paranoia and her own fears of being alone and never finding love. But during the crux of her investigation, she meets a handsome detective with whom she ultimately falls in love. She is in a race against time to try and figure out how to destroy one mans legacya legacy that holds one community in captivity of lies, secrets, murder, drugs, suicide, money laundering, and deceit.
