Daddy's Bums is the story of a family that dated back to their Swedish ancestors, their life in Sweden, their immigration to Canada, their life in a Swedish settlement in northern Manitoba. It spans from the 1800s to the year 2002. It tells of a love for each other that sustained them though the very hard years of the dirty thirties, through the trials of World War II and on. But mostly of a man and his wife who could bring up their children with love and security in the hardest of times.
