Mother to Son is a collection of poetry meant to impart the wisdom of a parent to her sons. In our fast paced-society, parents have to compete for the attention and time of their children. As I've watched my sons charging through adolescence and approaching adulthood, I realized that so much I needed to share with them was being left unsaid. Before they go out on their own, my deepest hope is to give them a source of guidance they can hold on to whatever life brings their way. These poems are a collection of thoughts on faith, integrity, and character to guide them, and perhaps others, as they begin their journey through this life and into the next.
