Detinna and Delphi go to Guatemala to gain access to another world, so they can free the Time Thief imprisoned in a deep cave. The journey is an incursion into the beautiful landscape of Guatemala, interfaced with the spirits of olden times. The Lady of the Falls and the Spirit of Air are archetypal companions who would help them battle the Cave God who has more power than them all. In the end, the couple discover something more important than life and death, or any powers that gods or people might have.
