Vivek, a software engineer at Bangalore, returns to his home town to take care of his mother, who has undergone bypass surgery. He decides to start a computer software training center and hires a young girl, Snehal. Both Vivek and Snehal work together towards marketing their business by visiting the engineering colleges and incorporating the latest technical courses.

Snehal is attracted to Vivek, but she is already engaged with Ranjit, whom she dislikes because of their different social status. She reveals to Vivek about Ranjit and Vivek assures Snehal of his help in making her life comfortable.

But when Vivek along with his mother and uncle visits Snehal's parents, Snehal's father refuses their proposal and treats them harshly. He punishes Snehal by locking her in a room.
