The Love for Missionary Work Elizabeth Cassar

At the age of 40, and after passing much turbulence in my life which really challenged my beliefs, I wanted to make happen what I really believed in. I really wanted to do something for others. I started doing research, writing what I learned from my research to give to others and one day I was approached to serve in the Local Community by being a Local Councilor. In 2012, I was also approached to be a member in The Military & Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem: Grand Priory of the Maltese Islands, an Order who serves to help the poor and the needy and mainly the lepers around the world. Nowadays I am still a member and a really happy one! Being a member in this Order gives me the opportunity as a team, to help many, many in my country and even more around the world. In year 2014, I had also an opportunity, to go and see poverty, touch it with my own hands, and feel the need to give more and more... PERU 2014
